A Katy, Texas-based self-taught abstract expressionist whose work explores the quiet relationship between chaos, hope, and transformation. A lifelong maker — from designing costumes and jewelry as a child to the expressive visual language that defines her canvases today — she has always been drawn to creating by hand.

After returning to Texas from time spent in Los Angeles, painting became more than a creative outlet — it became a way to process life's complexities and rediscover a sense of peace and possibility. That experience continues to shape both her practice and her perspective.

Guided by intuition rather than expectation, Kayce works intuitively, allowing each piece to reveal itself through layers of color, texture, and movement rather than forcing a predetermined outcome. Influenced by the energy and spontaneity of Abstract Expressionism — with subtle nods to Jackson Pollock — her recurring forms of circles, layered lines, and gestural marks create a conversation between movement and stillness, structure and freedom, uncertainty and hope.

For Kayce, abstract art is much like music without lyrics — it doesn't ask the viewer to arrive at a single meaning, but instead creates space for personal reflection, imagination, and emotional connection.
